Positive Power People

If any of y'all have watched the sitcom "Grounded for Life", which, when I first discovered the beauty of DVR at college, this was on my season pass (and Bernie Mac...gotta love the Bernie Mac Show) amongst many other procrastinatory programs. Anywho, the show is about this dysfunctional family (surprise) whose parents married early and had like four kids and the mom still looks hot. No fair.

So, the oldest girl is this red headed fireball of a brat but she still seems to provide some comic relief. She's always doing different activities at school or men, depending on the episode. One particular episode she decides to join this positivity choir...so the whole episode she runs around singing "We are the positive power people! We are the people with the positive POwerrrrr!". And so from then on, whenever I was having a bad day or just feeling downright pissy about life, I would sing that song around the house. The roommates loved it.

So, this is my song to you, world! I am so ready to get out of the Willamette Valley and out of my parent's house and my job is super unfulfilling that sometimes (ok always) I have a Negative Nelly attitude and it doesn't make it fun for other people and it especially doesn't make it fun for me.

Seems to me that almost everyone in this world is a bit jadcd, and even those super religious people (i.e. many Silvertonians) that slap a smile on their face and pretend that they're so damned happy that Jesus loves them deep down are scared little munchkins just waiting for life to attack them just so they can use said attack as an affirmation that God loves them and made it so because He knows what he's doing and it's for the good of the crowd and go about their "merry" lives. So, that having an oh so slight negative connotation to it probably indicates that I should be a Positive Power People...err Person!

I will travel to Scotland and have a blast and discover many a new thing and hopefully myself a lil more.
The Demos will win the Presidency.
I love my body...sometimes...no, no, all the time!
My job is over in only THREE MONTHS!! WAHOOOOO.
The environment is a beautiful thing that we must protect and there are so many people out there that care.
Food is delicious, even if it costs you your first born to buy a banana these days.
I will find love.
