Great 2008

So the last almost two years since college has ended (sigh...it seems like yesterday), I have been struggling to figure out what I want in life. Metaphorically and literally speaking.

I discovered who I was in college, rather, who I am now.

Now it's time to figure out what I want.

I know and you all know that people go through life never knowing what they want and it makes for less secure, happy people, in my opinion.

2007 just kind of was blah and sucked slightly...okay more than slightly... at least in my life and even some of those around me.
This year, the "Great 2008" is a year of transition. I had a feeling it would be even half-way through 2007 when I realized how much it was sucking and it couldn't last much longer because my life really isn't that terrible but I have problems in mi vida just as everyone else does...mine are just not equally so traumatic, but still important to me, nonetheless.

So, I've decided at the end of my AmeriCorps position, I will be moving to Scotland. This is tentative, of course, since I just decided this like three days ago. I have to get my passport and with that I can get a "National Insurance Number" which is like a SSN over here and be valid to work. However, I need to find a job as well. I talked with my mom and she said it seemed doable and I can probably stay with my uncle until I get settled.

What happened to law school, you say? I will be applying to law school while I'm over there and see which schools I get into. I'm not sure if there are interviews in the admissions process or what...like I said, all tentative.

Anywho, I'm thinking moving to Scotland for a bit will help me to figure out what I want by removing myself from, well, my life. Yes, I will create a new life for myself over there, but it won't be what I grew up around and not near as much pressure. Plus I'll get to hang out with the relatives! :-)
